75 Years. 75 Stories.
Every table has a story. Every order brings back a memory. Here are just a few of the moments you’ve shared with us.
“My son’s favorite item when he was little was cheese ‘fwies,’ and staring at the fish tank. Now his favorite is the cheese fries. So sad when they lose their baby voices.”
Antonette S.
“Good memories working with great friends at the Natick location as a teen. We certainly ate our share of roast beef and onion rings we helped make! $8 an hour, good money for a kid at the time. Kelly’s always took great care of their customers, especially clergy members and law enforcement officers.”
Matt S.
“When you want a nonsense North Shore classic, Kellys Roast Beef in Revere, MA is the move. You roll up with the ocean air still on you, step inside, and catch that salty-fry, warm-roll smell that tells you you're in the right place. You go straight for the roast beef piled high, tender, and messy in the best way...It's quick, fair-priced, and laid-back, with that been coming here forever energy. You leave full, happy, and already planning what you're ordering next time.”

“I used to live in Nahant. My grandmother took me to Kelly’s my whole life. When she got to her later years, I’d go and get her the lobster roll and the roast beef combo, weekly. When she passed, I went in and the young man at the counter knew me from years of coming in for that order. He added it without asking, and didn’t charge me. I ate it on the beach with happy tears, knowing good people still exist.”
Keri Ann G.
“I am 45. I grew up in Lynn. My grandparents would bring me to Revere Beach from birth all the way until I had to say goodbye to my Nanny in 2013. I will never forget the first time I had to fight off the seagulls from taking my lobster roll! From roast beef sandwiches to generations of love, Kelly’s has so many memories for my family. I am also pleased to say that my son now works at Kelly’s Roast Beef in Revere. And the love continues.”
Lauryn F.
“Kelly’s is a tradition which spans three generations in my family. My Nana would take the extended family, my Aunt would take us, and we have continued the tradition decades later. My family hails from the city of the first public beach and we always enjoy watching the views while enjoying our roast beef and never letting any of those seagulls leave happy! I need to add that I was almost named Kelly!”

“On July 9th, 1981, I took my now-wife on our first date to Kelly’s Roast Beef in Revere for a Three Way. In just a little over five years from now, it will be 50 years together. There’s no second shot at a first impression — do it right the first time.”
Joe D.
“10 years ago I got to bring my daughter to my favorite sandwich place. It was a hangout when I was a kid and teen. Making a tradition! Hope I can bring the next generation here someday.”
Lyn D.
